Vodka Sauce

Introduction

This is a great sauce with pasta to warm up a winter evening. This is a great sauce with pasta to warm up a winter evening.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 tbsp Olive Oil
    1 tbsb I can't believe its not butter, regular
    1 medium slice Onion, cut small
    2-14oz cans of Del Monte Diced Tomatoes with Green Pepper and Onion
    1 cup Lactaid Fat Free Milk
    0.25 cup Vodka
    Crushed red pepper, salt, and pepper to taste.

Directions

Melt butter and oil.
Add onion and cook until translucent.
Add tomatoes and cook until liquid dissolves. About 25 mins.
Add milk, vodka, crushed red pepper, and any other spices and cook until sauce consistency. About 25 mins.

Pair with your favorite pasta and you've got a meal. Another suggestion is adding some kind of chicken strips as well.
