Ingredients

    1 cup barley
    2/3 cup bacon bits
    2 T brown sugar
    2 tsp basil
    2 tsp oregano
    1 tsp pepper
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp celery flakes
    1/2 cup beef bouillon granules
    1 cup wild rice
    1 cup dried minced onion

Directions

place mix in large pot. Add 14 cups of water. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for one hour. Makes approximately 12 cups of soup.
