Crockpot steel cut pumpkin oats (revisited)

Introduction

steel cut oats with pumpkin,dates and apples.

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1- 1/2 cup steel cut oats
    6 cups water
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tbsp. light brown sugar
    1/4 cup clover honey
    1/2 tbsp. cinnamon spice
    2 medium apples peeled + diced
    1/2 cup chopped dates
    15 oz. can natural pumpkin

Directions

Add all ingredients into crock pot and cook 4-6 hours on low.
Can freeze several servings, for another day into small freezer bags and or containers. Take out as needed and warm with a small amount of skim milk for one minute.
Serving size: actually 1/4 cup. . I prefer to make mine 1/2 cup.
(you can make it more or less, if you like)

Recently I made 1/2 c servings + had 17 servings to freeze
