Original recipe had butter in it, but you don't even miss it with whole milk.
* Macaroni, dry, enriched, 4 cup elbow shaped
* Milk, 1.5 cup
* Colby Jack Cheese, 1 lb, shredded
* Yellow Mustard, 4 tsp
* Garlic powder, 2 tsp
* Pepper, black, .5 tsp
Cook macaroni per package directions. (I don't add salt.)
Shred cheese if not already grated. Drain the noodles, and put 1/3-1/2 of the noodles in the bottom of a large casserole dish, spreading the 1/3-1/2 of the cheese on top of each layer. Repeat until the noodles are gone and cheese is gone. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over the top of the noodles and cheese.
Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Longer if you like crispier cheese.
