Rainey's Pasta with Turkey Pasta Sauce

Introduction

Had some ground turkey in the freezer and decided to make some pasta with meat sauce. Turns out well and very healthy, replacing beef with turkey and using whole grain pasta. Had some ground turkey in the freezer and decided to make some pasta with meat sauce. Turns out well and very healthy, replacing beef with turkey and using whole grain pasta.
Number of Servings: 7

Ingredients

    Jennie-O Lean Ground Turkey (95/5), 12 oz
    Chunky Ragu Sundried Tomato & Sweet Basil, 26oz bottle
    Onions, raw, 1 cup, choppedSerrano Peppers, 3 pepper
    Barilla Whole Grain Spaghetti, 1 box
    Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

On medium-high heat, spray nonstick cooking spray in large pan.
Break up grpund turkey and cook in hot pan until brown. Drain cooked meat and move aside.
Saute onions and peppers in hot pan until softened.
Pour in sauce and heat through.
Stir in the cooked turkey back in the sauce and set aside.
Cook pasta using box directions until al dente.
Drain and put pasta into sauce and mix well.
Makes 7 servings.
