Chicken and Rice Soup

Introduction

This is easy to make on a cold day! This soup is versatile and can be seasoned to your tastes. This is easy to make on a cold day! This soup is versatile and can be seasoned to your tastes.

Ingredients

    1 qt chicken broth
    1 16 oz. bag of frozen soup vegetables
    1.5 cup diced cooked chicken
    1.33 c brown rice
    salt
    pepper

Directions

In a large stock pot, pour 1 quart chicken broth and add 6-8 cups water. Add rice, vegetables, and chicken. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 45 minutes. Add salt and pepper as needed. Makes approximately 10 1 cup servings.
