Ingredients
-
4 medium size potatoes, cubed
1 large onion, chopped
8 oz shrimp, chopped
10 oz fish pieces(haddock, cod, flounder etc.)
1 can clam pieces, chopped
6 C clam juice, 1 large can
1 can evaporated FF milk
1/4 C Whole wheat flour to make a rue
Salt and Pepper to taste, We add at the table instead of cooking with it.
Directions
Cut up potatoes and onions, boil in clam juice and fish juice, till potatoes are done. Chop up the fish into bite size pieces, add to the potato and onion broth. Add the evaporated milk to the blender and add the wheat flour and add to the soup mixture. Continue to cook till the soup thickens up.
This should make 8/15 oz servings or close to.
I also strained out the meat and potatoes between 8 bowls and then split the broth evenly to make exact bowls.
