Moroccan Chicken Stew

Ingredients

    1 onion
    2 cloves garlic
    3 chicken breasts
    2 cups sliced carrots
    2 tsp ginger
    1 tsp turmeric
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1 tsp coriander
    1 can tomatoes with juice
    1 can chick peas rinsed
    4 cups water

Directions

Cook onion & garlic until translucent, then add chicken until browned. Add carrots & spices, stir to coat with spices. Add water, chick peas and tomatoes. Bring to low boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cook for 30-60 minutes.
