Homemade Beef Stew

Ingredients

    1 lb flank steak
    1/4 cup flour
    4 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 medium potatoes
    6 stalks of celery
    6 medium carrots
    1 can mushrooms
    1 can beef broth
    1/4 cup cooking wine
    4 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1/4 cup cornstarch
    4 cups water
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. curry

Directions

Cut all fat off flank steak, cut into 1" cubes, and coat in flour.

Pour oil into a dutch oven or large pot, and brown coated meat. Add beef broth, wine and worcestershire sauce, let sautee for a few minutes, add water, salt and pepper and curry.

Cut up vegetables into small pieces, and add to sauce. Cook for at least 3 hours, the longer the better. Enjoy!
