I made this one today with a few minor adjustments. I used Almond Flour and added Flaxseed Meal. They were yummy! - 6/24/07

This sounds yummy. And too much sugar does not immediately turn to fat, that is a misconconception. Not enough room here to get into it. This recipe could be 'healthified' quite a bit but you could eat one muffin without the sugar turning to fat. - 1/6/12

  • You could use a baking blend instead of regular brown sugar - and 1/4 cup isn't all that much. Any starch/protein will be stored as fat if you don't use it! Not just sugar. You could use whole wheat flower and applesauce too and cut more calories. I'll keep this recipe in mind. Thanks! - 2/9/08
