vegan pasta sauce

Ingredients

    28 oz canned tomatoes
    10 lrg mushrooms
    1/2c green peppers
    1 c chopped onion
    1 clove garlic
    4 scallion
    1/4c chives
    4tb olive oil
    4 tbl oregano
    4tbl basil

Directions

saute mushroom, onion, scallion, garlic in olive oil.
add green peppers, chives, oregano, basil to canned tomatoes. Add sauted to tomatoes and continue to simmer for 30 minutes.. serve over whole wheat pasta.
