Red Pepper Multigrain Crackers

Submitted by: TRAVELNISTA

Introduction

A very crispy cracker that is loaded with taste between the grains, nutritional yeast and spices. Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Cereal makes the recipe so good. It is a blend of 10 whole grains that are freshly ground and packaged. The grains are: wheat, rye, triticale, oats, oat bran, corn, barley, soybeans, brown rice, millet, and flaxseed. I couldn't afford to buy all of these separately and keep them fresh if I had to do this on my own. You must refrigerate as these are Raw whole grains that have been freshly ground. Ingredients

    1 Large Red Pepper
3/4 cup Bob's Red Mill 10 Grain Multi Grain Cereal
1/2 cup of Sunflower Seeds soaked overnight
    2 TBsp. Nutritional Yeast
1 Tbsp Bragg's or Namu Shoyu
.125 Crushed Cayenne Pepper or more to taste
    .25 Tsp. of garlic powder

Directions

Soak 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds overnight.

Chop up and then blend the Red Pepper until liquified.

In a large bowl add all of the ingredients and mix well. Allow the ingredients to blend for about 45 mins. till the mixture thickens.

It will still be thin so carefully pour half on a teflex sheet and carefully spread out evenly on the teflex sheet. Do the same with the other half of the mixture on another teflex sheet.

Pop in the dehydrator and set for 10 hours on 110 degrees.

Carefully peel the "cracker" off the teflex sheet, remember it is thin, and flip ove and dehydrate for another 2 hours or so.
