Mother's Meatloaf

Introduction

My mother made delicious meatloaf and it was the first thing she taught me to cook. My mother made delicious meatloaf and it was the first thing she taught me to cook.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/2lb lean ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1/2 cup chopped green bell pepper
    dash of Season All and Garlic Powder
    1 egg
    about 2 cups Corn Flakes
    3/4 cup ketchup

Directions

In large bowl mix ground beef, beaten egg, onion, bell pepper and seasonings. (Best to mix with hands.) Add Corn Flakes and mix while crumbling corn flakes. Add approx 1/2 cup ketchup and mix until holds together. Place in loaf pan and spread remaining ketchup on top. Cook in preheated 375 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done. Delicious and also makes fantastic sandwiches the next day!
