Tracey's Chile Verde

Introduction

This is a very mild dish unless you choose to add pepper to your liking. It is more like a pork stew.
This can be made on a stove top or in the crockpot. Serve over rice, black beans, lentils or in a tortilla. Add cheese if desired.

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup onion , Chopped
    2 tsp Garlic
    2 14.5oz cans of Italian stewed tomatoes
    1 tsp Cumin Seed
    1/4 flour
    2 lb Pork Tenderloin, cubed
    1 TBLS Canola oil
    Jalapenos (if desired)

    Heat non-stick pan. Add oil. Dredge cubed pork in flour and add to pan to brown on all sides. Add to a larger pot or crock pot. Add remaining ingredients. Cook on stove top until pork is tender or in a crock pot for all day cooking.
