Ingredients

    Shrimp, raw, 20 - 25 per pound size.
    Tomato Sauce, .75 cup (sodium free)
    Yogurt, plain, low fat, .3 cup (8 fl oz)
    Cream Cheese, Fat Free, 2oz.
    Olive Oil, 1.5 tbsp to cover the base of the pot
    Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped
    Garlic, 1 tsp crushed
    Ginger Root, .5 tsp minced
    Pepper, red or cayenne, 1 tsp
    *Coriander powder, 1 tsp
    Turmeric, ground, .25 tsp (
    Salt, .25 tsp to your taste.
    1Green pepper, seeded, cubed.

Directions

Defrost, frozen wild caught easy - peel shrimps, peel completely and rinse thoroughly. Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder and set aside. Heat Olive oil in a heavy based 2 qt. pot, add chopped onion and brown till golden. Keep stirring while you add the rest of the spices. Add tomato sauce, stire and cook for another 3 minutes. Slowly stir in cream cheese and yogurt while you continue to stir. Drop green pepper cubes and shrimps stir well. Cover and cook for 10 minutes stirring twice. Serve hot.
