Introduction

I got this recipe on Kraft foods site and substituted onions chopped for onion powder. I don't like onions in my food. Other options are to cut up and add one green pepper to the meat mix. Ingredients

    2 pounds ground beef, lean
    1 can (8oz) tomato sauce, divided
    .5 tsp onion powder
    1 cup bread crumbs, plain
    1/3 cup A.1. original steak sauce
    2 eggs, beaten
    .5 tsp ground black pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Separate tomato sauce in half. Mix 4 oz of tomato sauce, ground beef, bread crumbs, pepper, onion powder, steak sauce, and eggs. Press in a 9x5 in. pan or glass dish. Bake for 50 minutes, then drain grease and top with remaining tomato sauce and bake for remaining 10 minutes.
