Layered Salad

Introduction

This is a wonderful salad that can be customized to your own tastes. This is a wonderful salad that can be customized to your own tastes.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 head lettuce, torn
    1 cup celery, diced
    .5 cup diced onions or green onions
    1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen peas, thawed
    1 cup diced tomato
    1 cup diced hard boiled egg
    2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    .5 cup Miracle Whip Light


Directions

Layer all ingredients except cheese and salad dressing in a large bowl. Top with salad dressing and then shredded cheddar cheese. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Can be made the day before. This salad will remain crisp as long as layers are not mixed. Once they are mixed lettuce will begin to wilt. This serves 10-12 people.
