Almond Cinnamon French Toast

Introduction

This was something I whipped up for breakfast this morning. I just used white bread instead of true french bread to shave several calories. The almond extract was yummy! Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 tsp Olive Oil
    3 Eggs
    1/4 cup milk
    1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp almond extract
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    8 Slices White Bread

Directions

1. Wipe skillet with 1 tsp olive oil and heat over medium heat.
2. Whisk together remaining ingredients in a shallow bowl. (besides bread).
3. Dip bread into mixture, coating both sides. Make sure to allow extra to drip back into bowl.
4. Place bread into heated skillet, cooking on both sides until golden tan (about 2 minutes per side).

Serves 4 people 2 slices each.
