Unbreaded chicken parm

Introduction

a quick & easy alternative to chicken parm ... good with rice or pasta :) a quick & easy alternative to chicken parm ... good with rice or pasta :)
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 jar prego 100% natural Chunky garden combo sauce

    2 chicken breasts (cut in half lengthwise)

    1.5 oz grated or finely chopped cheddar cheese

    1 tbsp parmesan cheese

    garlic powder to taste

    pam spray for pan

Directions

Pre heat oven to 400 F

Spray pan with pam spray

Use approx. half jar of sauce to layer bottom of pan, sprinkle with garlic powder if desired

Cut chicken lengthwise and place on top of sauce

Cover with remaining sauce and more garlic if desired

Bake 20-25 minutes (until meat thermometer reads 165F)

Remove from oven and turn oven off

Top with cheeses and put back in cooling oven for 3-5 minutes (or until cheese is fully melted)

Makes 4 servings (1\2 chicken breast per serving)
