Swanson Herb simmered Beef Stew

Introduction

2 lbs stew meat
freshly ground
2 tbsp wheat flour
2 tbsp olive oil
2 C Mushrooms (fresh)
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp Marjoram, thyme, and Rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 can (14oz) Beef Broth
1 C Baby Carrots fresh or frozen
12 whole baby red potatoes

2 lbs stew meat
freshly ground
2 tbsp wheat flour
2 tbsp olive oil
2 C Mushrooms (fresh)
3 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp Marjoram, thyme, and Rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 can (14oz) Beef Broth
1 C Baby Carrots fresh or frozen
12 whole baby red potatoes


Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Season beef with pepper and coat with flour. Heat oil in saucepot. Add beef and cook until brwoned stirring often. Add mushrooms, garlic, herbs, and bay leaf, and cook until mushrooms are tender and liquid is evaporated. Add broth
    Heat to a boil. Cover and cook for 45 mins
    Add Carrots and Potatoes Heat to a boil. Cover and cook over low heat 30 minute or until done.
    Remove bay leaf
