Judy's Sloppy Joes

Introduction

Nice quicky for lunch or supper. Even nice over rice. Nice quicky for lunch or supper. Even nice over rice.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb 5% lean hamburger
    2 10.75 oz cans chicken gumbo soup
    4 oz sliced mushrooms
    .5 med or small onion chopped
    2 tbsp mayo
    2 tbsp ketchup
    1 tbsp yellow mustard
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tbsp oil for pan

Directions

place onions and mushrooms in pan with oil on med hi heat
cool until just starting to soften
add hamburger and brown..chop it up to small chunks
add both cans chicken gumbo soup..simmer covered for 15 min
add mayo, ketchup, mustard and stir..turn down heat and simmer uncovered to sandwitch topping consistency
serve on open faced or closed face hamburger buns or over rice.
makes about 8 nice hamburger bun fulls.
