Pork and peppers penne pasta

Ingredients

    *bulk pork sausage, 453.6 gram(s) (remove)
    Sonoma Gourmet Arrabbiata Pasta Sauce (1/2 cup), 6 serving (remove)
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 2 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" (remove)
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
    Garlic, 6 cloves (remove)
    Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1 medium whole (2-3/5" dia) (remove)
    Serrano Peppers, 1 pepper (remove)
    *Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)
    White Wine, 2 fl oz (remove)
    Trader Joe's organic whole wheat penne pasta, 8 serving

Directions

chop veggies while browning sausage. Drain oil from pan and add olive oil, add onion, garlic and red peppers and saute until tender. Add chile pepper, tomato, white wine and simmer for 5 minutes. Add Arrabbiata sauce, bring to boil, reduce heat and cover, cook for 20 minutes.
Bring water to boil in pasta pot, add salt, add penne pasta and cook until done. Drain and add sauce to pasta and mix.
