Spaghetti Sauce with Italian Turkey Sausage

Ingredients

    Jenny-O Italian Turkey Sausage, 12 oz
    1 tsp. jarred garlic, minced
    1 26 oz. can Hunt's Spaghetti Sauce
    1 can Del Monte Italian Recipe Stewed Tomatoes
    1 small can Mushrooms Stems & Pieces
    2 tsp. Italian Seasoning
    1 tsp. Garlic powder
    1 tsp. onion powder

Directions

Removing casings from sausage. and crumble into a sauce pan. Add the minced garlic. Cook over medium high heat, until meat is no longer pink. Stirring often to break into small crumblies. Drain and return to sauce pan. Add spaghetti sauce and mushrooms. In a food processor or blender, process the stewed tomatoes to desired consistency (leave it a little chunky if you like it that way). Add tomatoes to sauce pan. Reduce heat to medium low. Stir in Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder. Let simmer for at least an hour but longer to make it taste even better. Stir occasionally to keep from sticking. Serve over your favorite noodles.
Makes about 8 servings 2/3 cup each
