Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

3/4 pork chops or country-style pork ribs
    1 onion, sliced into rings
    1 cup water
1 veggie boullion cube (or chicken)
    1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
    1 tsp Black Bean Sauce
    Olive oil or cooking spray

Directions

Spritz a non-stick pan with olive oil or cooking spray. Add sliced onions to the pan and cook until they start to brown. Meanwhile, prepare the water and boullion cube. Set aside to cool. Add the pork to the pan, and brown on both sides, about 10 minutes total time. Mix the worchestershire sauce and black bean sauce and add to the broth, stir well. After the pork is browned, put the onions on top of the pork pieces, and pour the broth around the meat. Cover and reduce the heat. Simmer for about 45 minutes. (I also added in a few splashes of dry white wine.) Makes 4 servings. Serve with the side of your choice.
