Ingredients


    Quarter cup whole wheast flour, seasoned as desired - I use black pepper and paprika
    * Beef, tip round, .8 lb , cubed
    * Campbell's condensed French onion soup, one can, plus equal amount of water or more as desired
    * *carrot, 1 raw (7-8" long), cut into thick slices
    * Celery, raw, 1.2 stalk, large (11"-12" long) sliced thick
    * *Potato, raw, 1 large (3" to 4-1/4" dia.) cubed into 1 inch or less cubes
    * *Raw White Onion (Serving = 1 medium Onion chopped
    * mushroom 1 cup sliced/pieces~70 gm raw,
    * Catsup, 2 tbsp
    * Cherry or mini Roma Tomatoes, fresh or dried, 6 Tomatos, halved
    * Jalapeno pepper raw (1 pepper or to taste).,minced
    * fresh Rosemary, chopped 1 tsp
    * Thyme, fresh, 1 tsp
    * Heinz Worchestershire sauce, 1 Tablespoon

Directions

Shake beef well with seasoned flour in a bag until well coated. Brown beef in hot Pammed skillet, stirring frequently, until well browned. Add undelited can of french onion soup and let simmer while you prepare the vegetables.
Pam slow cooker. Add a soup can of water, chopped Jalapeno pepper and halved cherry tomatos. Turn onto high.
Chop the vegetables as indicated above. Add all to cooker.
Pour beef mixture on top, scraping fond from bottom into cooker. Top with fresh herbs. Turn to low.
Peas, sliced okra &/or chopped bell pepper make good additions half way thru cooking, but are not necessary and not included in calorie count.
Cook 6 hours to all day. Good with bread and a salad, fruit dessert. Serves 3 hungry adults (1 1/2 to 2 cups each) or 2 adults & 2 small kids
