    I'm not a big fan of cooked spinach but I tried this and got raves from my hubby, daughter and son-in-law. AND I'll say it's probably the best cooked spinach I ever had! I used canned tomatoes (drained) and it still turned out ok, but now I can't wait to try it with fresh tomatoes! - 12/17/09

    This will be a staple in my diet for a long time coming. Great over rice and can add many other things to it. Leftovers warmed up over rice next day is an easy take to work lunch! - 12/14/09

    I loved this. I used red onion, and it was amazing. I had it with an egg, and toast, and made a open face sandwich with it. It was out of this world. It was a big hit at my house. - 9/6/07

    OMG!! this is so amazingly good. It was so good that while eating it, my husband said "you should have been a chef". Of course, I didn't really do anything, I just made this VERY simple recipe, but it taste gourmet. - 11/10/09

    I love this recipe. I have made my version many times before but never had added garlic, and I use either spinach or collard greens rolled and cut very thinly. It was awesome. I actually ate 3 servings with my salmon. - 10/7/09

    This is good. I think next time I will add some wheat pasta and take the skin off of the tomatoes using the large tomatoes like the recipe. All I had was cherry tomatoes out of the garden. All in all I liked it, thanks for the recipe! - 8/31/09

  • Used red onion. Only had 1 tomato so I also used some sun dried. Big difference in taste between the 2. Probably used too many of the sun dried, but it was still very good. I'll definitely make it again. - 2/13/11

  • I make this often & it's always enjoyed. Instead of steaming it I add 1 T olive oil and "stirfry" it just intil wilted. We like a little basamic vinegar sprinkled on top before serving. Sprinkles of parmesan cheese & or bacon bits are also good. - 10/17/07
