This is a savory soup, perfect for a cold night! This is a savory soup, perfect for a cold night!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    10 russet potatoes
    10 carrots
    5 celery stalks
    1 can diced tomatos
    1 lb. extra lean ground beef
    2 tbsp dried onions
    3/4 cup brown rice
    12 cups water
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    2 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp beef base
    3 bay leaves
    2 small dried chili peppers
    other seasonings to taste

Directions

Peal your carrots. Chop the carrots and potatoes into bite size pieces. chop the celery. add 1 can diced tomatoes add to stock pot. brown ground beef, add to veggies. sprinkle in the dried onion, and the rice. Add 12 cups of water. then add salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, beef base, bay leaves, chili peppers, and other seasoning to your desired taste. Bring to a boil, and then simmer until rice is fully cooked. makes 12 (2 cups) servings.
