Creamy Turkey Pasta

Introduction

This was just something I whipped up. This also goes great with cornbread and a dinner salad. Bon Appetite.

The calorie count for this is 600 but you can serve 4 oz to cut the calorie count in half with a small slice of low cal/low fat sweet cornbread.

Ingredients

    1 lb Turkey, Ground turkey, 93% lean
    2 cup Fresh Express Spinach
    1/2 cup Cheddar Cheese
    1/4 cup Red Onions
    1/2 cup Yellow Onions
    1 Tbsp Yogurt Non-Fat, Plain
    1 - 1 1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
    1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
    1 cup Barilla Elbow Noodles
    2 tsp Italian Seasoning
    1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
    1/4 tsp Sea Salt (fine salt)
    1 tsp Black Pepper
    1 tsp Parsley Flakes
    1 tsp Dried Chives
    1 tsp Oregano
    1/4 tsp Creole Seasoning (Tony Chacheres Original)

Directions

1. Before cooking meat saute red and yellow onions until slightly brown then add meat, black pepper, sea salt, parsley flakes, dried chives, oregano, creole seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.

2. While meat is cooking cook noodles according to directions.

3. Once meat has cooked add spinach, cheddar cheese, yogurt and heavy whipping cream.

4. Once noodles are cooked add to meat and mix well and serve.
