Tomato Salad with Red Onions & Basil

Introduction

A great salad for family gatherings, picnics, etc A great salad for family gatherings, picnics, etc
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1/3 cup of basil
    1/2 tsp of table salt
    4 tsp olive oil
    4 medium tomatoes
    1/2 tsp of sugar
    3 Tbsp red wine vinegar
    1 small red onion
    1/2 tsp of dijon mustard

Directions

Dressing: Combin vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, mustard and pepper and whisk until smooth.

In salad bowl, combin the tomatoes, onions and basil. Drizzle with dressing; toss to coat. Refrigerate, covered, tossing once until flavours are blended (at least one hour).
