Introduction

Found this soup in Taste of Home cookbook, but made some ingredient changes. Ingredients

    Ground beef, lean, 16 oz
    Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    Garlic, 2 clove
    Swanson Chicken Broth 99% Fat Free, 24oz
    Ragu Spaghetti Sauce (tomato sauce), 26oz
    Del Monte Petite Cut Diced Tomatoes, 15oz
    2 tsp italian seasoning
    Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat Extra Wide Pasta, 2 cup

Directions

In a large pan, combine ground chuck, onion, and garlic. Cook over medium-high heat for 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until beef is browned and crumbles. Drain well. Stir in broth, diced tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, Italian seasoning, and salt into cooked meat mixture. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat; reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Add noodles, and simmer until noodles are tender.
Sprinkle with parmesan or mozarella cheese. (Not included in calorie count)

Makes 10 1 1/2 cup servings
