Introduction

My family says this is, hands down, the best chili ever... and it takes about 30 minutes to make! My family says this is, hands down, the best chili ever... and it takes about 30 minutes to make!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkey, lean
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 medium onion, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 can Rotel tomatoes & chilies (w/juices)
    1 small can tomato sauce
    3 medium fresh tomatoes, peeled & chopped
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. cumin
    2 Tbsp. dried parsley
    1 tsp. oregano or Italian seasoning
    Salt & pepper to taste
    1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
    1 can black beans, drained & rinsed
    1 can white or kidney beans, drained & rinsed
    1 can corn, drained

Directions

Brown ground turkey and pork until no longer pink; add onion and garlic. Drain well. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings; stir well. Add beans and corn. Simmer, covered, 30 minutes to blend flavors. Watch carefully to avoid scorching! Serve with fresh snipped cilantro, sour cream and grated cheddar cheese. Serve 8.
