Basic Whole Wheat Pancakes

Introduction

This is a really basic whole wheat pancake recipe that can be easily adapted with different fruit or spice add-ins. This is a really basic whole wheat pancake recipe that can be easily adapted with different fruit or spice add-ins.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1.25 c whole wheat flour
    2 T sugar (or other sweetener)
    1 t baking soda
    2 large eggs
    1 c milk
    1 T vanilla extract

Directions

In medium mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and baking soda.

In smaller bowl combine milk, eggs, and vanilla.

Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.

Add in any fruit or spice add-ins you'd like (not included in nutritional information)

Pour about 1/3 of a cup of batter onto heated griddle.

Flip pancakes when bubbles form and burst on surface.

Yields about 10 pancakes.
