IntroductionThis is GREAT for Parties, Large Famlies or cooking meals in batches.

Good for BOTH Vegans OR Meat Lovers ! (depending on if meat is added)
1 lb Jennie-O- Extra Lean Ground Turkey
(vegans can leave out meat and just add 1 cup shredded carrots)
1 lb can of Dark Red Kidney Beans
2 16 oz Cans of Crushed Tomatoes
1 8 oz can diced tomatoes plain or with lime, oregano or with jalepeno
4 Tbls Minced Onion
4 Tbsp Chili Powder
Optional (* see note below cooking instructions)
*Shredded Low Fat Cheese
* Low Fat Sour Cream
*Cooked Riced Cauliflower
Perfect for Parties, or cooking for the month.
Can substitute Ground Turkey for Ground Beef (effects calories)
Brown the ground meat, drain and add to BIG stock pot or crock pot.
Add Remaining ingredients, bring to boli, cover then lower to simmer for 1/2 hr on stove.
If cooking in crock pot put on high for 4 hours (or however long your crockpot cooks on high, longer cooking time just breaks beans down a little more).
Put in bowls and serve.
Put in fridge till party day (up to 2 days)
Cool, and put in individual conatainers or bags & freeze.
Then just "heat-n-eat" !
*Optional Serving Suggestions:
( NOTE: may effect total carb, calorie count)
-Over Cauliflower Rice
(1b bag of frozen cauliflower cooked, then put into blender till consistancy of rice)
-Top with Dollop of Low Fat Sour Cream
-Top with Low Fat Shredded Cheese
-Serve with Whole Wheat Bread
