Ingredients

    - 12 links sweet Italian sausage
    - 1 Red Sweet Pepper, sliced
    - 1 Green Bell Pepper, sliced
    - 2 Onions, sliced
    - 2 Tbs Olive Oil
    - 1 Tbs dried Basil
    - 1 Tbs dried Parsley
    - Salt and Pepper

Directions

Add sausage to a large skillet and brown over medium heat. Reduce heat, add 1/2 cup water to the skillet, cover and allow to simmer until all water is evaporated. Remove sausage from pan (sausage temperature should be 160 degrees). Slice sausage into pieces about 1 inch thick.

Add peppers, onions, basil, parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until soft. Add sausage back into skillet and cook until warmed through.

Serve with fresh italian bread, pasta and sauce or rice (not included in nutritional information).

Each sausage link is 1 serving.
