Slow Cooker Morrocan Chicken

Ingredients

    1/4 cup Kikkoman Lite Soy Sauce
    1/4 cup Lemon juice
    1/4 cup Dry Red Wine
    1/4 Honey (I use date honey)
    2 tsp Curry powder (I use Hawajj, a similar Middle Eastern spice blend)
    1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
    1/2 tsp Oregano, dried
    1/2 tsp Ginger, ground
    1/2 tsp Black Pepper, ground
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    2 Tbsp chopped walnuts
    1 Tbsp Fresh Chives (optional)
    4-7 cloves Garlic, peeled and sliced
    1 kilo (2 1/2 pounds) Chicken Breast
    1 cups Peas, frozen

Directions

Whisk together the soy sauce, lemon juice, wine, honey, curry powder, thyme, oregano, ginger, pepper, olive oil, and chives. Place the chicken (cut into large pieces), defrosted peas, and walnuts in the crock pot.

Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 4-6 hours. Serve over 1/2 cup brown rice or couscous. Enjoy!
