Apple Crisp (rachel ray 2)

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1. 6 small apples
    2. the juice from 1/2 lemon
    3. 1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
    4. 1 teaspoon cinnamon
    5. 2 tablespoons of sugar
    6. 1/2 c of graham cracker crumbs
    7. 1/2 c brown sugar
    8. 4 tablespoons of margarine

Directions

Serving size 4 to 6 (1 cup serving)

1. Preheat oven to 400. Use a 9 X 12 baking dish
2. Peel and dice apples into 1/2 inch pieces
3. Combine apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmet, and sugar. and put into baking dish.
4. In a small bowl mix together graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar and margarine using the times of a fork and your fingers, working until small even crumbles form.
5. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples and bake 20-25 minutes or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.

May be served with vanilla ice cream or for a low cal dish use fat free whip cream! Yummy! (Calories do not include ice cream or whip cream)
