Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb Beans, red kidney
    15 ClovesGarlic,
    Salt, 1.5 tbsp
    Oregano, Dry - 3 tbs
    1 Large Onion - cut in wedges (Save some slices for frying)
    Olive Oil, Extra Virgin, 3 tbs

Directions

Add beans, onion and garlic to crockpot.
Add water with about 3-4 inches of water over them.
Set your crockpot for the 8 hour setting.
Scoop out beans and add them to a food processor. Process the beans and add water from pot as necessary to get the right consistency.
Warm oil in a deep pan or pot and add onions
Once Onions are translucent, take them out and process them with the beans. Once everything is processed return them to the oil ad heat for about 10 minutes.

Makes about 6 cups
