Turkey-Taco Pasta Salad

Ingredients

    * Great Value Whole Wheat Rotini Pasta, 113.4 gram(s)
    * Great Value Garden Rotini, 113.4 gram(s)
    * Ground Turkey, 567 grams
    *Lawry's Taco Seasoning, 2 tsp
    * Water, tap, .5 cup (8 fl oz)
    *Peppers, sweet, red, fresh, 1 cup, chopped

Directions

1. Prepare rotini pasta according to its package directions.
2. While the pasta is cooking, brown ground turkey in a medium skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain the turkey of any excess fat and return it to the skillet.
3. Add water, taco seasoning and bell pepper to cooked ground turkey; simmer until the sauce thickens, stirring occasionally.
5. Place a portion of pasta on four separate plates.

Top with shredded cheese, low-fat sour cream, and/or salsa.

Portions on this are huge. I often find myself eating a half-portion.
