Slow Cooker Black Bean & Beef Chili

Introduction

This is a nice change from the traditional chili, chunky with the flavour of the black bean. This is a nice change from the traditional chili, chunky with the flavour of the black bean.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup Stewing Beef
    2 - 541 ml cans of of Stewed Tomatoes
    1 - 541 ml can of Black Beans
    1 - 156 ml can of Tomato Paste
    1 White Onion Diced
    1 Orange or Red Pepper Diced
    1 Celery Stalk finely chopped
    3 Cloves of Garlic Minced
    2 Tbsp Ground Cumin
    1/2 Cup Flour
    1/4 Cup of Vegetable Oil
    Salt & Pepper to Taste
    Tobasco Sauce to Taste


Directions

Season Flour with the Ground Cumin, Salt and Pepper, coat beef with this mixture. Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Cook for 10 - 12 hours on low.
