Overnight French Toast

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Butter, salted, .25 cup
    French Bread, 12 slice, small (2" x 2-1/2" x 1-3/4")
    Egg, fresh, 6 large
    Milk, 1%, 1.5 cup
    Maple Syrup, 2 tbsp
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp

Directions

Yield: 6 Servings
To Make the toast:
Spread butter over bottom of heavy lg. baking pan with 1" sides.
Arrange bread slices in pan.
Beat eggs, milk, sugar, syrup, vanilla, and a dash of salt in lg bowl.
Pour over bread-turn to coat both sides.
Cover with plastic wrap a refrigerate overnight.

To Cook:
Preheat oven to 400F
Uncover and Bake for 10-15mins
Turn bread over and cook for additional 10-15mins
Serve Hot!
