Steel Cut Oatmmeal with Cranraisins II

A quick method that takes only 10 minutes cooking and 5 minutes to sit after cooking is to soak the oats in the water over night. In the morning add salt and bring to boil, add cinnamon and cranraisins, stir, cook partially covered for 10 minutes on low. When done cooking, stir, cover and let sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Ingredients

    1/3 cup steel cut oats
    1 cup water
    1/8 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 cup cranraisins
    1/4 cup 2% milk

Directions

Bring watr to boil, add salt and oats and stir. Bring to boil and add cinnamon and cranraisins, stir, lower heat to simmer, cover and cook for 25 minutes. Stir and take off heat and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
