Introduction

Low fat, low sodium and packed with vitamins protein and fiber. A healthy side dish or wrap in a tortilla with your favorite condiments for a tasty burrito. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    2 cups cooked white rice
    one can no salt back beans drained and rinsed
    one medium yellow onion diced
    2 garlic cloves chopped
    1 8oz can of no salt tomato sauce
    1/2 cup no salt chicken stock
    red pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp cumin
    1 tsp oregano
    salt and pepper



Directions

Saute onions and garlic until soft. Add spices and beans. When beans are heated add rice, tomato sauce and chicken stock. Stir to thoroughly mix and heat. Makes 8 side dishes. or wrap in a tortilla, top with salsa, fat free sour cream and cheese for a tasty burrito.
