Un-stuffed green pepper

Introduction

Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 lb. extra lean ground beef
    1 green pepper chopped into bite size pieces
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped mushrooms
    1 cup brown rice
    1/2 cup spaghetti/tomato sauce (I even have used pizza sauce)
    salt/pepper/fennel to taste

Directions

brown ground beef in a pan. Cook brown rice according to directions. Drain grease from pan. Add the veggies and cook until crisp tender-about 8 minutes. Add salt/pepper/fennel and cook a few more minutes. Then add brown rice and tomato sauce. Cook until heated through.
