Citrus Fried Cabbage

Introduction

Can add more meat (sliced sausage, pork, chicken) to make a main dish. Can substitute any other type of cabbage if you prefer. Good served with steamed new potatoes. Ingredients

    Olive oil (just enough to saute onion & garlic)
    4 cloves garlic, sliced
    1 whole sweet onion, quartered and sliced
    1/2 Nappa cabbage, cored, quartered and sliced
    Juice of 1 large orange
    Orange peel, remove white & slice into matchstick pieces
    4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    2 tbs cider vinegar or Ponzu citrus vinegar
    Pepper to taste

Directions

Heat oil in wok or large frying pan. Saute onion & garlic until softened, then add remaining ingredients. Stir-fry until cabbage is as soft or crunchy as you like.
