Mushroom and Bacon Pasta

Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    2 oz whole wheat pasta
    2 slices bacon, chopped
    2 gloves garlic, minced
    2 oz (about 1/3 cup) sliced fresh mushrooms
    1/2 teaspoon chicken bullion + 1/2 cup boiling water OR 1/2 cup chicken stock
    Salt and Pepper to taste
    1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Boil slightly salted water for the noodles, and cook noodles until they're al dente.
2. Brown bacon. Once the bacon is nearing done, toss in the garlic and mushrooms. Stir often.
3. Once the mushrooms are soft, add the stock or bouillon. Salt and pepper to taste.
4. Bring sauce to a boil and then reduce to a simmer for 3 minutes.
5. Add noodles to sauce and toss to coat.
6. Plate it and top it with the Parmesan cheese.
7. Enjoy!
