My Cornbeef & Cabbage

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 Brisket (mine was 2.75lbs or 44 oz), Onion Powder & Pepper to taste, 6 Red Potato's,1 whole white onion, 1 16 oz bag of baby raw carrots, 1 head (med. sized) cabbage

Directions

In a large stock pot place Brisket and seasoning packet in pot & Onion Powder & pepper . Cover with 12 cups of Water and simmer on low for several hours. Remove meat and separate. Throw away fat & return meat to broth. Peel & cut into chunks 6 red potato's. Cut into pieces and add 1 whole white onion, 1 16oz bag of baby carrots cut into halfs, 1 medium head of cabbage cut up and add 8 more cups of water. Cook until veggie are done :)

Makes aprox 12 2cup servings
