Introduction

This is a great and healthy way to get your greens. Delicious. I sometimes add a little flax oil but don't have any on hand so didn't put it in the recipe. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    Banana, fresh, 2 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long) (remove)
    Spinach, fresh, 3 cup (remove)
    Water, tap, 4 fl oz (remove)
    Bottled Cranberry Juice Cocktail, .5 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)
    Oranges, 1 large (3-1/16" dia) (remove)
    Swiss Chard, .5 cup, chopped (remove)
    Kale, 2 cup, chopped (remove)
    Parsley, 3 tbsp (remove)
    Blueberries, frozen (unsweetened), .25 cup, unthawed (remove)
    Strawberries, frozen, unsweetened, .25 cup, thawed (remove)
    *costco frozen mixed fruit, .5 cup (remove)
    Chia Seed Gel (my best estimate), .33 cup (remove)
    Omega Nutrition Flax Oil - 2tsp, 9 tsp (remove)
    red grapes, .5 cup (remove)

Directions

Put Kale and Spinach with chia gel water and cranberry juice puree in blender till smooth. Then add partially thawed fruit. Enjoy!

  • Sound wonderful! I make this at home also however I don't use apple juice since it has lots of sugar and calories. What kind did you use here? I use a few dates in mine for sweetness and use water. - 1/21/10
