Turkey Mushroom Meatloaf

Submitted by: SWAMIMARTI

Introduction

Great served hot with a baked potato and green vegetable or salad or you can make meatloaf sandwiches. Great served hot with a baked potato and green vegetable or salad or you can make meatloaf sandwiches.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 Pound of Ground Turkey
    1 small finely chopped onion
1/2 pound of finely chopped mushrooms
1/2 package of dry Lipton Onion Soup mix

Directions

You can chop your onions and mushrooms in a food processor or use a knife as you prefer.
I also like to mix my meatloaf in a mixer, but it can be combined by hand or in the food processor.
I bake my meatloaf in a microwave safe glass ring shaped baking dish. A microwave bundt cake pan will work or a large round microwave safe bowl with a clean skinny empty olive jar in the center.
Place meatloaf mixture in baking dish, cover with a lid or plate or plastic wrap and microwave on high for 23 minutes.

  • This sounds great but the calorie count is very low. It looks like it calls for a pound of ground turkey but nutritional info was for a quarter lb giving 1 ounce of turkey per serving. - 2/28/11

You are right! Thanks! I had to remove the turkey entirely, recalculate and then put the turkey back in to get the recipe to show the right amount, which is 4 oz per serving and 188 calories.
