Introduction

Ingredients

    1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup all-purpose flour
    1 TBS Splenda
    2 tsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    3/4 cup milk
    1 tsp unsweetened applesauce
    1/3 cup liquid egg whites

Directions

In a mixing bowl combine flours, Splenda, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk and applesauce. In another bowl, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold egg whites into mixture.

Spray a griddle with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat griddle over medium heat. For each pancake pour about 1/4 cup batter onto the hot griddle. Cook over medium heat until pancakes are golden brown (1-2 minutes per side); turn to 2nd side when the pancakes have bubbly surfaces and slightly dry edges.
