Ingredients

1 lb. Great northern beans, soaked
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cans (4 oz. each) diced green chilies
2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon oregano
1 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 lbs. skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 can (14 oz) reduced sodium chicken broth
1 cup water
Directions
Put beans in medium pan and cover with water. Bring to a boi; reduce heat and allow to simmer 20 minutes. Drain and discard water. Cut chicken into 1 inch pieces and brown if desired. Put all ingredients in a crockpot. Stir to mix thoroughly. Cover and cook on low (10 hours) or High (6 hours).
